Where to Go, What to Do
Summer - There are several things to do in the summer in the Catskills. From hiking to fishing or even shopping you will find something that is right for each family member. And don't forget about Cooperstown - the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Even there is plenty of restaurants, shops, other museums, etc.

Oh! And Don't Forget About the Skiing!
While I said there is more to do than just skiing, there is skiing as well. There's Hunter Mountain and Windham as well as Belleayre (see video below). If you are an avid skier you probably will want to bring your own equipment but you probably would have done that with my suggesting that you do. If you are not an avid skier than you'll be able to rent equipment. But here is a suggestion: unless you are really good at skiing, you should take a lesson before you start. It will make your skiing that much more fun because you'll have an idea on what to do.

Cooperstown
A mention of Cooperstown automatically brings thoughts of the Baseball Hall of Fame to those who know about it (which is just about everyone). But for Baseball widows who end up in the village, there is hope. Cooperstown really has many more things to see and do. From miniature golf to wineries, art and history museums to shopping, Cooperstown will have something for everyone.
